Tropical harvest often coincides with high humidity, exactly when sun drying fails. Grain at 18–30% moisture must reach 13–14% quickly; every day it sits wet, aflatoxin risk climbs.
Why a continuous tower
A continuous mixed-flow tower (120–500 TPD) runs 24/7 under PLC control, so intake is dried as it arrives instead of piling up. For a collection center this is the difference between "golden window" and "spoiled pile."
Heat source in the tropics
Biomass (rice husk, corn cob pellets) is usually abundant and cheap, and pairs well with local agriculture. Where gas pipelines exist, gas is the cleaner alternative.
Moisture uniformity is the real spec
Average compliance is not enough — pockets of wet grain become mold pockets. We control the moisture-removal curve so the outgoing batch is uniform, protecting both safety and sale price.
Fast drying beats the mold clock
The design goal in the tropics is throughput under load: clear the daily intake before it spoils. That is why we size for peak daily intake with margin, not annual average.
