150 TPD Drying + 4000T Storage Turnkey Project
Central Africa · Delivered 2025

Project Description
Client Background: The client is an agricultural investment group in Central Africa operating large plantations locally, mainly growing corn and cassava. Harvest-season grain moisture reaches 25–30%, and the lack of modern drying and storage facilities kept post-harvest losses consistently high.
Challenge: The hot, humid tropical environment demands extremely high corrosion resistance from the equipment. The client needed a complete drying-to-storage solution (turnkey mode) with a service life of at least 15 years under harsh climate conditions.
Solution: AmGrainTech provided an integrated drying + storage turnkey package: one 150 TPD continuous dryer (with anti-corrosion coating) + two 2,000-ton galvanized steel flat-bottom silos (4,000 t total) + conveying and cleaning system + temperature-controlled ventilation. All outdoor steel structures received dual protection of hot-dip galvanizing plus heavy-duty anti-corrosion painting. The contract covered design, manufacturing, ocean freight, on-site installation supervision, and operator training.
Result: The project was delivered and commissioned in 2025. First harvest-season data shows post-harvest loss cut from about 30% to within 5%. The steel silos performed well in the hot, humid tropics, and the temperature-controlled ventilation effectively prevented grain heating and mold. The client was satisfied with the reliability and cost-effectiveness of the overall solution.
