Project Description

Client Background: Uzbekistan is a core grain-producing region in Central Asia, with wheat and corn as the main commodity grains. The local harvest window is concentrated and initial grain moisture is high (often 20–30%); without timely drying, mold and post-harvest loss easily occur.

Challenge: Central Asia's dry climate with large day-night temperature swings raises the bar for drying uniformity and energy control; the client's initial processing scale was limited, calling for a modular batch solution that can be expanded in stages rather than a single large continuous line.

Solution: AmGrainTech supplied a 2×32T batch drying system—two 5HX-32 batch dryers running in parallel, 32 t per batch, with selectable biomass / natural gas and other heat sources, plus cleaning and temporary storage, and precise temperature control to lower the cracking rate.

Process Reference: Per the product knowledge base for standard batch-drying process, wet grain feed → cleaning and impurity removal → batch drying (staged temperature control) → tempering and cooling → discharge, reducing moisture from 20–30% to safe storage 13–14%; the 5HX series covers 3–35 t per batch across full model range, fitting different sites and capacity needs.
