Project Description

Client Background: China is an important rice-producing country in its Northeast region, with grain production and export volumes growing steadily in recent years. The client is a national-level grain reserve institution in China, needing to build large storage facilities to safeguard regional food security.

Challenge: China's Northeast region has a temperate monsoon climate with high humidity during the rainy season, imposing extremely high requirements on silo airtightness and corrosion resistance. At the same time, it must meet the throughput demands of large-scale centralized grain loading and unloading.

Solution: AmGrainTech provided a bolted flat-bottom steel silo multi-silo combination solution, with a total storage capacity of 60,000T. The bolted assembly structure offers excellent sealing performance and structural strength, paired with a 500 TPH automated grain handling system (bucket elevators + scraper conveyors + belt conveyors) for rapid turnover. Equipped with a centralized temperature-control ventilation system and remote grain-condition monitoring.

Process Reference: Per the knowledge base steel silo system product line, bolted flat-bottom silos range from 500–20,000T per silo; this solution uses a multi-silo combination design to achieve the 60,000T total capacity. The bolted assembly process ensures silo airtightness and structural integrity, paired with multi-point temperature sensing + automatic ventilation systems to guarantee safe long-term storage.
